Dimitar started YourWalletManager after five years of building his own portfolio, having found that choosing a broker in the UK took far more research than it should. What began as a blog explaining investing and the markets grew, around three years ago, into a full review and comparison platform with tools that help readers narrow the choice down themselves. He researches and writes mainly on ETFs, stocks and shares ISAs and long-term investing, the areas he has spent the most time in as an investor, and brings in a colleague on CFDs and day trading rather than covering them alone. His reviews start with using the platform where he can, opening an account and testing deposits and withdrawals, then reading the fee schedule, checking the FCA Register and speaking to people who use the broker day to day.
